Postal Rates for Santa's Letters 2008
The following postal rates apply for 2008.
All Santa Letters addressed to UK addresses including
Northern Ireland,
Channel Islands, and all Scottish Islands
are posted FREE OF CHARGE. Postage is by second
class post until 1 December 2008 when it changes to First
Class post.
All Santa Letters going to addresses outside
the UK are charged at the Royal Mail air mail rates.

Although the Royal Mail symbols still appear on the envelope
we leave it to parents to tell children that all letters
from Santa start at the North Pole where they are sent out
to all the countries in the world. From there the
local carrier i.e. the Royal Mail delivers the letters to
the child's address. |
