Hello
Stephen,
Christmas will soon be here and I’m sure you are getting
excited – I know I am. And I know you must be hoping for a
really special present this year.
But one thing is certain – I only deliver
presents to people who have been good all year. So, I
looked in my big book that tells me all the
five year
old boys
in the world that have been good in 2008. And at the top of
the first page I saw the name
Stephen Whiteside
So,
I asked my little helpers the elves what I could possibly
bring
you
as a present. They said that you might like an
aeroplane.
Well that would be very special. I shall have to ask them
to search the Grotto very hard to see what they can find.
I hear you are now in Mrs Robinson's class at
Avon Valley School and that you are doing very well with
your reading. Keep up the good work Stephen.
Well
we are all working very hard to ensure everything is ready
for Christmas. It’s a long way to
Hastings and
I have to make sure Rudolph is fit and the sleigh is able to
take off – after all it hasn’t flown for a whole year.
Oh,
I nearly forgot. Could you please leave me a glass of
milk and a mince pie for when I visit you - I get so hungry
and thirsty delivering all those presents. And if you
could manage to leave a carrot for Rudolph that would be
fantastic.
So
Stephen,
think of us this Christmas as we fly across
the roof tops whilst you are snug and warm in bed, but most
of all make sure you are fast asleep before we arrive.
Have a very, very merry Christmas
Love
Santa
